Fans baffled over A-list singer’s unrecognizable new look: ‘Who even is this?

A social media post from an A-list star had fans likening her appearance to a number of other celebrities.

‘I can’t wait for y’all to hear the soundtrack of my soul,’ the 44-year-old singer-actress captioned the post, which was set in a recording facility.

In the post, the star was clad in a black jacket over a beige silk top and skirt with black cowboy boots with platforms and heels.

The star had her trademark blonde locks styled differently than usual, cascading down the front and the side as she relaxed in a chair.

‘I don’t even recognize this person,’ one commenter said of the mystery celeb.

Others compared her appearance to other celebrities including Bravo star Kim Zolciak, hotel heiress Paris Hilton and former White House adviser Ivanka Trump.

The celebrity in question is Jessica Simpson, who appeared to be going back to her musical roots in the social media post Monday.
