Oxfordshire man charged after killing a deer and hunting mammals

Benjamin Thomson, of North Street, Thame, was charged with eight offences after an incident at Stert Road, Kingston Blount.

Thomson, 20, was charged with possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place; killing a deer at night; two counts of without the consent of the owner / occupier of land take / kill / injure a deer; enter land without consent of the owner / occupier in search / pursuit of a deer with intent to take / kill / injure; knowingly permit dog to be used for hunting a wild mammal; hunting a wild mammal with dogs; and trespass on land at night and take / destroy a rabbit or rabbits. 

He will next appear in court on February 25.
