Scientists find star-nibbling black holes are bombarding Earth with cosmic rays

Research has found black holes which ‘nibble’ on stars are contributing more than previously thought to the bombardment of ‘cosmic rays’ on Earth. Our world is constantly showered by particles accelerated towards the planet from elsewhere in the Milky Way.
